Boudoir Session at Junto Studio in Toronto, ON

My first client session out of Junto Studio in Toronto, ON was PHENOMENAL! Beautifully lit, whimsical/boho vibes, and warm tones… What more could you ask for!? (Not much when you’re a boudoir photographer.)

Her Why

This particular client booked in wanting to shoot simply for herself. To celebrate her body and the journey it has been through. The body that carries her through her day to day and deserves recognition and honouring.

The Session

We met at Junto Studio, got her makeup done (and yapped), and then we began our session. I posed her the whole way, giving me complete posing freedom. She came in ready to trust that I’d guide her to show off her best self - and I think we nailed it. She chose three outfits to shoot in, and we both ended up falling in LOVE with the black strappy set she brought - there was something about the set… Paired with black strappy heels, it was dominant, sexy, and empowering.

It was interesting shooting at Junto, because I’m not so used to the space - I’ve only shot in it once! This exercises my brain and challenges me to find the best lighting in the room and to inject variety into our posing in a new environment. I definitely found a few gem corners of the room that I will be pocketing for next time.
