After Hours x Sewn Lingerie Collaboration

Welcoming spring with this fun creative collaboration between Sewn Lingerie, After Hours Collective (@arcadiaboudoirstudio & @danielhadfield), and Lise Alexanndra.

It Always Starts With An Idea…

Daniel and I saw a new installation going in at Mint Room Studios in Toronto titled “Moss Passage”. At the centre - a round arch, reclaimed by moss. Moss-covered islands cover the floor, delicate wildflowers scattered in amongst them, creating a landscape of whimsy and serenity.

Now that we had the set, we thought of who to shoot here next. Daniel had worked with Lise previously, and she was a shoe-in for the shoot - the perfect look for this set!!

It was important that we showcased a Canadian lingerie brand as well, and so we asked Sewn (a Calgary-based lingerie brand) if they wanted to be a part of our shoot - and they agreed!!! We chose to shoot the La Femme set - floral embroidery on white mesh… literally a match made in heaven.

Our Vision Come to Life

Shoot day came and we knew we wanted to capture a variety of images - wide shots showcasing the installation, portraits of our model, and, of course, the lingerie from all angles! It’s always so much fun mood boarding before the shoot (hi Pinterest!), referencing that inspiration during the shoot, but then putting our own creative spin on the shoot. We wanted to incorporate movement, play, and tranquility into our visuals - and… I think we nailed it.

Check everyone out on socials!
